Working out of 10 Dover Place in Kolkata is quite something because it’s a nice part of West Bengal. Our office is tucked away here, and most of the time we are busy with the logistical side of flying helicopters. You wouldn't think an aviation company would be based in a spot like this, but this is where the planning happens. We spend a lot of time looking at schedules and making sure everything is lined up for the pilots and the maintenance crews. Kolkata is a crowded city, so getting to work through the traffic can be a real headache sometimes. Inside the office, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of maps pinned to the walls. We have been here at the 700 019 pin code for a while now. The building has its own quirks, like the elevator that takes a bit too long sometimes. We aren't really about the flashy stuff you see in movies. It’s more about checking the weather reports and making sure the fuel logs are updated correctly. The team here is small but we know each other well. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for reports to come in from the field. It’s a steady job that requires a lot of attention to detail without much fuss. We just focus on the daily tasks and try to keep things moving smoothly. There is always a lot to do, and we just handle it one flight at a time.
