Down in Thakur Village at Kandevelli East, things are always moving fast. We are based in B-102 at Oberoi Park View, which is a pretty well-known spot if you live around here. Working with lumber and wood solutions means we deal with a lot of different people every day. Global Lumber Solutions is just a small team of us trying to keep things organized. The Mumbai humidity can be a real pain when you're dealing with wood, but we’ve figured out how to manage it over the years. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking lists to make sure everything is where it should be. The office isn't very big, so it gets a bit crowded when everyone is in at once. Sometimes the traffic in Kandevelli makes it hard for people to visit, but we usually just meet them halfway or talk over WhatsApp. We’ve been at this address for a while now. It’s a good place to be because everything we need is right around the corner. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that, just some folks who know a lot about wood and how to get it shipped. Sometimes we stay late when a big order comes in. It’s a lot of manual work and checking papers, but it’s what we do. It’s noisy outside but we’re used to it. We keep a stash of biscuits for tea breaks in the afternoon.
