Glass Mall

Our shop, Glass Mall, is right at 17/A on S.V. Road in Andheri West. We are directly opposite the subway entrance, which means there are always people walking past our window. It’s a very busy part of the city and the noise from the traffic is constant. Inside, it’s a bit quieter, but we have to be careful because everything we handle is breakable. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass and making sure there aren't any smudges. It’s a narrow shop, so we have to move carefully so we don't knock anything over. We’ve been in Andheri for a long time and have seen the neighborhood change a lot. The subway makes it easy for people to find us, even if parking on S.V. Road is a nightmare. We usually have a radio playing in the background to drown out some of the honking from outside. Most of our day is spent measuring things and talking to customers who come in off the street. We aren't a big chain, just a local spot where we know our business. Some days are slow and we just sit by the door watching the crowds go by. Other days we are so busy we barely have time to eat. That’s just how it goes here in Andheri. We try to keep things simple and just keep the glass safe. It's been that way since we opened up.
