Glass Expressions

Glass Expressions. I’ve been running this shop at No 34, De Silva Baug for a while now. It’s right on Asalfa Link Road in Ghatkopar West. Mostly it’s just me and a couple of helpers dealing with glass. We do a bit of everything, from mirrors to windows. It’s a busy street and people just drop in when they need a piece of glass cut to size. I try to keep things simple here. Sometimes it gets crowded with all the off-cuts in the corner. If you walk past the Baug, you’ll see us. We’re not a big factory or anything, just a local spot where we handle whatever glass work comes our way. The weather in Mumbai can be tough on glass, so we see a lot of repairs. I started this because I like working with my hands. It isn’t always easy, and the traffic on the link road is a nightmare during the rains, but we manage to get the jobs done. If someone needs a frame fixed or a glass top for a table, they usually come find us here. We keep a stock of different thicknesses, and if we don't have it, I can usually get it in a day or two. It's just a regular workplace where we try to do decent work without making a big fuss about it.
