Ginza Industries Ltd.

Ginza Industries Ltd. is over on Maharshi Karve Road in Marine Lines. We are on the second floor of the Kimatrai Building. It’s one of those older Mumbai buildings with a lot of character and maybe a few cracks in the plaster. Being in Marine Lines means we are close to the station, so there’s always a stream of people walking past outside. The office itself feels like a proper old-school Mumbai business spot. We don't have all those modern open-plan designs; it's more about solid walls and piles of files. We've been in this industry for a long time, and you can see that in the way we work. It’s very traditional. The windows look out towards the busy street, and you can hear the trains if you listen closely. We deal with textiles and manufacturing stuff, so there’s always some talk about yarn or fabric going on. It’s a bit cramped sometimes with all the samples and paperwork, but we know where everything is. The lift in the building is the old manual kind that you have to close the gates on yourself. It’s just how things are in this part of town. We come in, do our work, have our tea, and handle the business without trying to be something we’re not. It’s a steady place with a lot of history and a very practical approach to the day.
