Gifts Star Baggage Industries

We operate out of the ground floor of Loban Building Number 2, situated near 5th Sankli Naka in the 2nd Stage area off C M H Road. It’s a busy part of Mumbai Central, and we’ve been here for quite some time now. Our business, Gifts Star Baggage Industries, is a bit of a mix. We make and sell different kinds of bags, from simple backpacks to more sturdy luggage items. Since we are in such a central location, we see a lot of travelers and local residents looking for something durable. The shop is often filled with the smell of new materials and the sound of sewing machines from the back area where we do some of our assembly. It’s a practical business, focusing on making things that actually last. We also carry some gift items, but the bags are really the main part of what we do. The Mumbai Central area is always moving, and we try to keep up with the pace. It isn't a fancy boutique with bright lights; it’s a working shop where we put in long hours. We get people coming in looking for a specific type of bag for work or school, and we just show them what we have on the floor.
