Gift World

Gift World is located at 3, Holy Cross Society on Old C.S.T. Road in Kalina. It’s a busy corner of Santacruz East. We are in a residential-looking building, which makes it feel a bit more like home than a shop. Inside, it’s a bit of a squeeze because we have so many boxes and items tucked away. We’ve got gifts for almost any occasion, but they aren't always displayed in a neat way. You might have to dig a little to find what you want. We spend our time unpacking shipments and helping the local folks who stop by. The traffic on Old C.S.T. Road is almost always bad, so we hear a lot of horns honking throughout the day. We aren't a big chain store with matching uniforms. It’s just us, usually in whatever clothes were comfortable that morning. We don't do big advertising campaigns or anything. People in Kalina just know we are here. Sometimes the stockroom gets a bit chaotic, especially before holidays, but we eventually find everything. We use an old desk for all our paperwork and keep a calendar on the wall to track deliveries. It’s not a high-tech operation, just a local spot where we try to keep things moving. We’ve been here for a while and the neighbors are like family. It’s a humble setup, but it works. We close up around the same time every evening and head home like everyone else on the block.
