Gherzi Eastern Ltd., Mumbai

Gherzi Eastern Ltd. is based out here in Mumbai, specifically in the Nilje area of Dombivli East. Our office is up in C-501 of Lake View-C, right inside Lodha Heaven. It is a busy spot. Every morning, most of us deal with the local train crowds or the traffic on Kalyan-Shilphata Road just to get through the gates. The office isn't anything fancy, just a workspace where we get things done. Being in a residential township like Lodha Heaven means things are a bit quieter once you get inside the building, which is nice for focusing on paperwork. We’ve been at this address for a while now. The view of the lake nearby is alright when you need a break from the screen. We usually have tea from the local vendors around the corner. It is a long commute for some of the guys coming from further out in Mumbai, but we make it work. Most days are just about handling the regular load of work that comes through. We don't have a huge team here, so everyone knows each other. It’s practical. We don't spend much time on decorations or making things look corporate. If you find yourself in Dombivli, you’ll see it’s a growing place with new buildings popping up everywhere. We are just one of many small offices in this part of town trying to keep things moving. It gets hot in the afternoons, but the fans keep us going. That’s about it for us.
