Saroj Photo Albums

You can find us over at the Ghatkopar Industrial Estate, specifically at unit D/216. We are right off L. B. S. Marg in Ghatkopar West, which is always a bit of a nightmare when it comes to traffic. If you live in Mumbai, you know exactly what I’m talking about. Saroj Photo Albums has been operating out of this industrial block for years. It’s an old-school building with narrow hallways and that specific smell of paper and glue that you get with printing work. We aren't a big high-tech factory; it’s more about the hands-on process of putting albums together. Most of our staff have been here a long time and they know exactly how to handle the machines. The space is a bit cramped because we have so much stock and materials piled up, but we know where everything is. On a rainy day, the sound on the metal roof is so loud you can barely hear yourself think, but it’s home for us. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. People who know us just come straight to the unit. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. It’s just a regular, hard-working shop where we try to keep things moving along as best as we can without overcomplicating anything for anyone. It's a bit of a squeeze but we make it work every single day with the tools we have.
