Ghanekar & Company

Our office is in Bharat House on Mumbai Samachar Marg, right in the middle of the Fort area. It’s an old building but it has character. We are on the second floor at number 12. Being so close to the Stock Exchange means the streets are always full of people rushing around. You get used to the noise after a while. Ghanekar & Company has been operating out of this space for quite some time. It is not the most modern setup you will ever see. There are stacks of files and desks that have seen better days but it works for what we do. People mostly know us from around the neighborhood. We don't have a big marketing team or anything. It is just a few of us here doing the work every day. Sometimes the elevator in Bharat House is a bit slow so a lot of us just take the stairs to the second floor. It’s faster that way. We like the history of this part of Mumbai. There is a lot of life in these old streets. We just keep our heads down and handle the business at hand. If you are walking past the Stock Exchange you are basically right there. The door is usually open during the day. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. Just a local company doing its thing in Fort. It’s a bit crowded but we like it here.
