Ghandi Brothers

You can find Ghandi Brothers over at 145 Narayan Dhuru Street in Mandvi. It’s an old part of town, very crowded and full of energy. We’ve been here a long time. The building shows its age, but that doesn't stop us from doing what we do every day. Dealing with the traffic on Narayan Dhuru Street is always a challenge. Sometimes it takes forever just to get a delivery van close to the door. Inside, it’s mostly shelves packed with whatever we’re stocking at the moment. We don't have a big reception desk or fancy lights. It’s just us, some chairs, and a lot of work to get through. My brother and I, along with a few others, manage the daily tasks. We talk to customers who have been coming to us for years. They know the shortcut through the side lanes to avoid the main road. Mandvi is a hub for this kind of trade, so there’s always someone looking for something specific. We don't use much technology here, mostly just pens, paper, and the occasional phone call. It’s how we’ve always done it. If the shop feels a bit small, it’s because it is. We make use of every inch of space we have. It gets hot in the summer, but we keep the fans going and keep working. It’s a simple life. We don't have many rules except showing up on time and helping people find what they need.
