Down in Tuticorin, things move at a certain pace, and we’ve been part of that for a while with Gg Construction. Our main base is out here in Tamil Nadu, and we spend most of our time out on sites rather than sitting behind a desk. Construction is a messy business, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. We deal with bricks, cement, and a lot of heat from the sun. It isn't the kind of job where you stay clean or keep a tidy office. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate speeches. We just take on building projects and try to get them finished. Sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate, or a delivery is late, and we just have to deal with it. That’s just how building things works. People in the local area know us by word of mouth more than anything else. We aren't big on technology or social media. Most of our planning happens on paper or just by talking things through on the site. It’s hard work, and your back usually aches by Friday, but it’s satisfying to see a wall go up or a roof get finished. We’re just local guys doing the heavy lifting for our neighbors and clients. We’ve been in this part of Tamil Nadu for a long time and don't plan on going anywhere else. It is just what we do, day in and day out.
