Get In

Get In is a small shop located at 8/C in the Topiwala Co Opera building. We are in Goregaon West, not too far from the Lalit Hotel. It’s a busy little corner of the world. Our shop isn't very large, so we have to be pretty clever about how we stack things on the shelves. We have been in this neighborhood for a bit now and we know most of the other shop owners on the block. It’s the kind of place where people stop in just to say hello or ask for directions. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s just us running the day-to-day business. The air conditioning sometimes struggles when the sun hits the front window in the afternoon, but we get by. We try to keep the shelves stocked with what people are looking for. It gets hectic on the weekends with everyone out shopping in Goregaon, but during the week it’s a bit more manageable. We don't use any fancy sales tactics or pushy talk. We just show people what we have and let them decide. The building itself has been around for a long time, so it has a bit of character and some creaky spots. We like being part of the local scene here. It’s a simple operation, really. Just a shop in a busy market trying to do right by the people who walk in.
