German Filters Machinery

Our place is Unit No. 13 inside the Damaji Shamaji Indl. Est. on L.B.S. Marg. Being in Vikhroli (W) means we are right in the middle of a very busy industrial zone. German Filters Machinery is where we handle all the filter equipment and parts. The estate is always buzzing with other businesses, so there is constant movement. Our unit isn't huge, but it fits everything we need to function. We have rows of filters and various machinery parts stacked up. It’s a bit cramped sometimes when a new shipment arrives. L.B.S. Marg is a long road and finding the right entrance to the industrial estate can take a minute if you’re new. We’ve been here long enough that the guards know us. The work itself is very hands-on. We spend a lot of time cleaning things or checking dimensions. It’s not the kind of job you do in a suit. We wear work clothes and get our hands dirty. The air in Vikhroli always smells like grease and metal, which feels right for what we do. We have a telephone that rings quite a bit and a computer for the basic stuff. We aren't big on meetings; we just talk over the noise of the machines. It’s an honest way to make a living. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but the machinery is what matters most to us.
