Geo-Chem Laboratories Private Limited

We operate out of the Raja Industrial Estate on P.K. Marg in Mulund West. Geo-Chem Laboratories is located on the first floor in units 36 and 37. It usually smells like a lab in here, which I guess is expected given what we do. There are always beakers, glass tubes, and machines running some kind of test or another. We wear lab coats most of the time, but they aren’t always perfectly white or pressed. The floor is that hard grey tile you see in many of the older industrial buildings around here. We have been in this part of Mulund for many years now. Outside the building, P.K. Marg is usually packed with rickshaws, cars, and delivery vans. It gets quite noisy during the day, but once you are inside the lab, it is mostly just the sound of the equipment humming in the background. We spend a lot of our time looking at various samples and writing down long rows of numbers in our logbooks. It is repetitive work, but it is what we do. The afternoon sun hits the windows quite hard, so we usually keep the blinds pulled down for most of the day. We are not really here to impress anyone with a fancy lobby or modern decor. We just have our workstations and the equipment we need to do the testing. It is a steady rhythm of checking and re-checking things before we file the reports and head home for the evening.
