General Trading Corporation

General Trading Corporation is located up on the first floor over in Masjid Bunder West. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs in the Pannalal Mohanlal building, but we have gotten used to it over time. The area around Vakola is always moving, with trucks and people everywhere. Being near the Junior Engineering Company helps people find us, though the streets can be a real maze if you are not from around here. We handle a lot of different things, mostly just trading whatever is in demand at the moment. The office is not much to look at, just desks, some old filing cabinets, and stacks of paperwork that never seem to go away. It is dusty sometimes because of all the construction nearby, but that is just how it goes in this part of town. We open early because the market starts moving before most people are even awake. There is usually some chai being shared around ten in the morning while we sort through orders. We are not trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to get through the day’s work without too many headaches. People call us up or drop by when they need something specific. We have been in this spot for quite a bit, seeing the neighbors change. It is a loud, busy place to work, but it keeps us on our toes. The walls are thin so we hear everything outside.
