General Metallisers Ltd.

Our place, General Metallisers Ltd., is at I-14 in the Udyog Vihar Industrial Estate. It’s a pretty standard industrial unit in a very busy part of the city. Udyog Vihar is always full of people and vehicles, especially during shift changes. Our building at I-14 is just one among many, but we’ve been here long enough that we feel at home. It’s a practical space. We have the equipment set up on the ground floor and the office stuff tucked away where it fits. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it doesn't really affect how we work. We start early in the morning and usually keep going until late. There’s a lot of noise from the neighboring units, but you stop noticing it after a few days. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. People usually just walk right in to find who they need. It’s a no-nonsense kind of environment. Finding a parking spot can be a real pain some days, so most of us try to get in early to avoid the rush. The area is quite dusty, being an industrial estate and all. We just focus on getting the orders out and keeping the machines running. It’s a basic setup but it works for us. We just try to keep things moving and stay out of the way of the heavy traffic. It's a solid job and we do it well.
