Our place is Ge India Ind. Pvt. Ltd, and we are situated at A/10 in the B.E.S.T. Staff Qtrs. This is right near the Wadala Depot on Tilak Road in Mumbai. It’s a very busy area, as you can imagine with the bus depot right there. There is always a lot of movement, noise, and people going about their business. Being in the 400 031 area means we are in a very central part of the city. Our office is pretty basic. It’s located within the staff quarters, so it has a very local, unpretentious feel to it. We don’t have any shiny reception areas or big logos everywhere. It’s just a place where we come to work on industrial projects and handle the company’s business in India. The heat in Mumbai can be tough, but we have our fans and ACs going while we sort through our daily tasks. Most of us take the local transport because trying to park near Tilak Road is a nightmare. We’ve been at this Wadala location for quite some time. We aren’t here to make any grand claims. We just do the work that is required of us, whether that’s technical support or administrative chores. It’s a real, lived-in space where the focus is on being practical. We just keep our heads down and manage our part of the industry from this small corner of Mumbai, right by the bus depot.
