Gautam Plastics

We’ve been running Gautam Plastics for quite some time now from our spot at 42, Veena Dalvai Ind.Estate. Being right near the old Ajit Glass Factory on S.V. Road makes us pretty easy to find in Jogeshwari-West. If you have spent any time in this part of Mumbai, you know how hectic the traffic and noise can be. We just stick to our corner in the industrial estate and get things done. Our setup isn't flashy with glass windows or anything like that. Instead, it is a real workshop where the machines are always humming and the floor is busy. Most of our days are spent dealing with plastic molds and ensuring the orders are ready when they need to be. Sometimes the heat from the equipment gets a bit much, but that is just part of the daily grind. My team and I have worked together for several years. We don’t do those long meetings. Instead, we usually just talk over some tea about what needs to be fixed or which delivery might be running late. S.V. Road is a crowded place, so navigating trucks in and out is always a bit of a challenge. We have seen the whole neighborhood change since we first started out here. There are plenty of new shops now, but our estate stays pretty much the same. We just focus on the parts and our routine. Word of mouth works for us. We just keep the machines going and try to stay on top of the work.
