Pioneer Chemical Industries Private Limited

Our office is in the B-Wing of Gokul Arcade, right across from Garware Polysters on Swami Nityanand Road. Vile Parle East is a busy part of Mumbai, so there is always traffic outside. Pioneer Chemical Industries Private Limited has been in this building for a long time. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the different wings and stairs. We deal with chemicals, so there is always some paperwork regarding safety and transport. It’s mostly office work here, not like a factory. We have a few desks squeezed into the space and a small area for tea. The elevator in this building is sometimes slow, so we often just take the stairs to the third floor. It is a bit cramped when we have visitors, but we make it work. Most of the day is spent on the computer or talking to suppliers. It is not very exciting, just steady work. Sometimes the noise from the road gets a bit much, especially during rush hour. We know the neighbors in the other offices pretty well by now. We aren't doing anything fancy, just keeping the business running and making sure the shipments are on time. The air conditioning works most of the time which is good because it gets really hot in this part of town. We just handle the industrial side of things and make sure the accounts are settled properly. It is just a regular office day for us every day of the week.
