Garuda Auto Service

We are down here in the Kandivali West industrial estate at Garuda Auto Service. It's mostly car parts and engine oil smells around here. My father started this place years ago at 10/C, and we just kept it going. Most days the floor is covered in grease and we have about five or six cars crammed inside. It gets pretty loud when the guys start the air compressors. We spend most of our time looking for specific nuts and bolts that rolled under a workbench somewhere. The spot isn't huge but it fits what we need. Some customers have been coming to us since I was a kid. It's not a fancy showroom with air conditioning and coffee machines. You just come in, leave the keys, and we get to work on whatever is making that clicking noise in your engine. Sometimes the parts take a few days to arrive and the cars just sit there taking up space. Kandivali gets really busy in the afternoons so getting cars in and out of the estate is a bit of a headache. We don't really do much fancy advertising or anything like that. People just know where we are. Usually, someone’s hands are too dirty to even pick up the phone when it rings. That’s just how it goes in a garage. We just try to get the jobs done so the owners can get back on the road. It’s simple work but it keeps us busy from morning until late evening.
