Gannon Dunkerley & Co., Ltd has a spot here in C-2/20, and it’s a constant hum of activity. Between the sirens and the traffic, there’s never a quiet moment. We’ve got a mix of people here, some who’ve been with the company forever and a few newer faces. Our office is functional. We have a lot of storage for equipment and documents. It’s not a place where we worry about looking fancy for clients. We care more about whether the trucks can get in and out of the lane without getting stuck. The humidity in Maharashtra is something we just live with. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a weird rattling noise, but we just ignore it. We deal with projects all over the city, so the phones are always ringing. It can be a bit stressful during the peak of a job, but we pull through by helping each other out. We don’t have any big speeches about our values. We just show up, drink our tea, and handle the business. It’s just life in the city. There’s a lot of paperwork to keep track of and plenty of technical drawings that need checking every single morning.
