If you head over to Borivali West, you’ll find us in the Old MHB Colony on Gorai Road. Our unit, 17/1325, is where we handle a lot of the local Gammon India operations. It’s a typical Mumbai neighborhood, so it gets quite loud outside with the traffic and the markets nearby. The space itself is quite compact, as is usually the case in this part of the city. We’ve got a lot of paper stacked up and the computers are almost always humming. We’ve been here long enough that the neighbors know us by name. It’s a working office, not a showroom, so expect to see things looking a bit lived-in. We handle various bits of the engineering business, mostly focusing on the administrative and planning side of things. The monsoon season is always a bit of a challenge with the dampness, but we keep things moving. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything, just a small one by the door. Most of the people working here live in the suburbs, so there’s a lot of talk about train schedules during lunch breaks. It’s a practical environment. We don’t spend much time worrying about how things look as long as the work is getting done correctly. It's just a bunch of us trying to keep the projects on track. We usually share some snacks in the afternoon and complain about the humidity. It’s a decent place to work and we have been at it for years now.
