Galaxy Freight Forwarders Pvt. Ltd. is based out of Laxmibai Ghag Chawl on Besant Street in Santacruz West. It is a very local spot in the Khotwadi area, and it feels like a real part of the neighborhood. The office isn't in one of those tall glass towers you see in the business districts; instead, it's part of the traditional chawl setup that defines a lot of Mumbai’s residential history. Walking down Besant Street, you see all sorts of things happening, from people doing their daily chores to kids playing around in the lanes. We’ve got a simple room where we manage all the freight forwarding tasks and paperwork. It can get a bit crowded when we have a lot of documents to process, but we make it work. The 400054 area is always moving, and being in Santacruz West means we are close to the heart of the city’s transport links. Sometimes the noise from the street comes right through the door, but you get used to it after a couple of days of working here. We mostly deal with the local transporters and clients who know the area well enough to find us without needing much of a map. It’s a modest place with a lot of history in the walls, and we just keep doing our daily routine of checking shipments and talking to drivers. There’s no lobby or reception, just a few desks and some chairs where we sit and work.
