Kurla West is where we’ve set up shop, specifically at 4A/01 in the Taximens Colony. It’s an interesting spot because we’re right at the end of BKC, so we get a bit of that corporate energy mixed with the more traditional Kurla vibe. The humidity can be quite something here, especially in the middle of the year, so we usually have the fans going full blast all day. Our space is dedicated to the industrial work we do. It’s not a showroom; it’s a place where things actually get made and moved. You’ll find a lot of tools and materials scattered around where we’re working on them. We don’t really go in for much decoration. The walls are just walls, and the floor is built to handle heavy stuff. Most of our team lives fairly close by, so we don’t have the longest commutes compared to some other parts of Mumbai. We usually have a bit of a chat in the morning before the machines start up. There’s always a lot of noise from the street outside, with rickshaws and delivery vans constantly passing by. It’s a busy, cramped part of the city, but we’ve managed to make a good workspace out of it. We just focus on the task at hand, whether it’s a small repair or a bigger production run. It’s honest work, and we like being in a place that feels real.
