We are based out of Mumbai and deal with all sorts of lighting stuff. G. L. S. Lighting Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is basically a group of us who know a lot about bulbs, fixtures, and how to make a room look right. Mumbai is a big, fast city, and we are right in the middle of that mix. Our space is usually filled with boxes of different lights and cables. It’s not always the neatest place because we are constantly testing things out or packing up orders to go out. We don’t have a massive corporate lobby or anything. It’s more of a working warehouse and office combined. People come to us when they need to figure out the electrics for a new project or just need a replacement for something that burnt out. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and looking at specs. It’s a lot of practical work. Sometimes the traffic in the city makes deliveries a bit slow, but we try to keep on top of it. We like the work because every project is a bit different. One day it’s a small shop and the next it’s something much bigger. We just keep our heads down and do the job. It’s an honest way to make a living and we’ve been doing it for a while now. We’ve seen a lot of changes in lighting technology over the years, and we just try to keep up with it all without getting too overwhelmed. No big fuss, just lights and the people who need them.
