G. L. Brothers (Pilot India)

Our office is located at Sona Udyog on Parsi Panchayat Road in Andheri East. It’s unit number 24. Andheri is always a bit of a rush, and this industrial area is no different. We’ve been here at G. L. Brothers for quite some time, and most people around here know us because of the Pilot India connection. The building itself is an older industrial structure, so it has that solid, concrete feel to it. Inside, it’s mostly stacks of boxes and the smell of ink and paper. We spend most of our day coordinating shipments and making sure the supplies are going where they need to. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The road outside can get really backed up with trucks and tempos, especially in the evenings when everyone is trying to leave the estate. We usually have the radio playing in the background to drown out some of the noise from the street. It’s a lot of routine work, checking orders and talking to the delivery drivers. We don't have any big corporate mission or anything like that. We just show up, do the work, and make sure things are handled correctly. The space is a bit cramped because of all the inventory, but we manage to find our way around. It’s just how it is in this part of Mumbai.
