It’s a well-known building in a busy part of town, and we’ve been operating Fusionjewels.Com from here for quite a while. Our space is usually filled with small boxes and tiny pieces of jewelry that we’re sorting through. It’s not always perfectly organized, especially when we have a lot of new stock coming in at once. We spend a lot of time on the computer, since the website name is right there in our title, but the physical work happens here on Peddar Road. You might see us checking stones under a lamp or typing away at the desk. The traffic outside can be quite something, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of us talking and the occasional phone ringing. We don’t have a massive showroom with bright lights everywhere; it’s more of a working office where things happen behind the scenes. We handle a lot of different styles, and sometimes the desk gets buried under paperwork and packing materials. It’s a small team here, so everyone does a bit of everything, from answering emails to wrapping up orders for the mail. We just try to keep up with the daily tasks and make sure the website matches what we have in the drawers. It gets a bit hectic sometimes. That’s about it.
