Freelance Consultant

I operate as a freelance consultant out of my apartment, A 202, in the Kumar Housing Society. This is in the Mhada Layout over in Mulund East, Mumbai. Living and working in Mumbai means you’re always around a lot of activity, but this society is tucked away enough that I can actually hear myself think. It’s a small space, but it’s all I need to run my consulting business. I have a desk, a good chair, and my laptop. Most of my work involves talking to clients on the phone or over video calls. I’ve lived in Mulund for years, so I know the area well. The Mhada Layout is a busy place, but it has everything I need within walking distance. Being a freelancer means I don’t have to deal with a long commute on the local trains every day, which is a huge relief. I handle all my own admin work, which can be a bit of a headache sometimes, but it’s part of the deal. The building is just a regular housing society, nothing special to look at. I try to keep a regular routine, starting early in the morning before the heat gets too bad. It’s just a one-person show here, focusing on the work at hand and making sure my clients get what they need without any unnecessary complications. I enjoy the way I work and the freedom it gives me.
