Free Lancing

I’m based over in Mulund East, right in Millenium Park at Hari Om Nagar. My apartment is 14/703, and that's where I spend most of my daylight hours working. Living in Mumbai, you get used to the constant hum of everything, but up here on the seventh floor, it's a bit quieter. I decided to start freelancing because I was tired of the long commutes on the local trains every single day. Now, my commute is just a few steps to my desk. It’s a small operation, just me, really. I don’t have any fancy equipment, just what I need to get the tasks done. The area around Hari Om Nagar is nice for a walk when the weather isn't too hot. I don't really follow a strict nine-to-five schedule. Sometimes I'm working at dawn, other times I'm finishing up late at night. I take on different kinds of projects as they come along. It's not a big corporate setup with meetings and reports. I just talk to people, find out what they need, and try to do it right. It’s a bit of a juggling act sometimes, managing everything yourself, but I wouldn't have it any other way. It’s my own little space and my own way of doing things in 400 081. I just try to keep my head down and get through the work.
