Located at 20, Dr. E. Moses Road in Mahalaxmi, our place at Franco Indian Pharmaceutical Pvt. Ltd. is right in the middle of everything. Mahalaxmi is a frantic area, and Dr. E. Moses Road always has something going on. We’ve been here for a while. The building has that lived-in feel you get with places that actually do real work. We deal with medicines and pharmaceutical stuff, which means a lot of checking and re-checking. It’s serious business, but the atmosphere inside is pretty down-to-earth. We aren't big on flashy signs or corporate talk. Most of us just show up, do our jobs, and head home. The heat in Mumbai can be a bit much in the afternoons, but the office stays okay. We have stacks of files and boxes because that’s just the nature of the industry. Sometimes the elevators are slow, and you end up chatting with someone from another floor. That’s how you get to know the neighbors. We’ve seen the skyline change around Mahalaxmi quite a bit lately. New towers are going up everywhere, but our spot stays the same. It’s a reliable place. We focus on getting the shipments out and making sure the labels are right. There’s always coffee brewing somewhere in the back. It isn't a perfect setup, but it works for us and has for years. We just keep at it day after day. It's not about being the biggest name on the block, it's just about doing the work correctly and making sure we don't make mistakes with the medicine. That's enough to keep us busy.
