Fountain Head Exports

We’ve been here at the A-Z Industrial Estate on G.K. Marg for a while now. Lower Parel is always busy, and being at number 156 keeps us right in the thick of things. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always noise and people moving boxes around outside. Our office isn't anything fancy. It’s just where we handle Fountain Head Exports. Most days, we’re just sitting at our desks dealing with paperwork and making sure stuff gets shipped out where it needs to go. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we take the stairs. It’s a lot of walking for everyone. We’ve got some old chairs and a lot of filing cabinets that have been here since we moved in. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving enough to keep us going. People usually come by to drop off documents or check on orders. We don’t have a big reception area or anything. You just walk in and someone is usually there to say hello. It’s a practical space. We spend most of our time on the phone or looking at spreadsheets. The neighborhood has changed a lot, but this industrial estate stays pretty much the same. It’s dusty and loud outside, but inside we just focus on getting the work done. We’ve got a small kettle for tea, and that’s about as luxury as it gets. It works for us.
