Our office is over at 32 Survy Ind. Estate, right on Sonawala X Road No.1 in Goregaon East. It's a busy part of the city, and finding a parking spot is usually a nightmare, so most of us just take the train. Inside, the place is full of cameras, lenses, and tripods that we probably should organize better. There are cables running across the floor in the editing room, and we have to remind ourselves not to trip over them every single day. We spend a lot of time sitting in front of monitors, cutting footage and trying to get the color right. It's not a glamorous job like people think. There’s a lot of waiting around for files to render and drinking way too much tea from the little shop around the corner. The building itself is old, and the lift is a bit temperamental, so we often just take the stairs. We’ve been in this spot for a few years now and the neighbors know us as the video guys who are always carrying heavy bags. We don't have any big corporate signs or a slick lobby. It’s just a workspace where we get things done. Some nights we're here until the sun comes up because a project is due, and other days we're out on shoots getting dusty and tired. We just like making videos and this little corner of Goregaon is where it all happens for us.
