Forbes Gokak Ltd. (Pvt.), Mumbai

Our little office for Forbes Gokak Ltd. (Pvt.), Mumbai is tucked away in Malad East, inside the Chitrawani Society. It’s part of the Pimpripara neighborhood, which can get quite crowded during the rush hours when everyone is trying to get to the Western Express Highway. We are located at 726 B-I, and it’s a pretty standard spot for this part of Mumbai. There is nothing particularly flashy about where we work. We have our desks, some old filing cabinets, and a kettle that we use way too often for making tea. The society is mostly residential, so we have families living all around us. You can often hear kids playing downstairs in the afternoons or neighbors chatting in the hallways. It makes the workday feel a bit more grounded and less like a sterile corporate environment. We’ve been here for a while and have gotten to know the local shops nearby where we get our stationery and snacks. The walk from the main road is short but can be a bit dusty depending on the season. We don't spend much time worrying about how things look to outsiders. We just show up, do what needs to get done, and head home like everyone else in the city. Life in Malad is fast, but inside our office, we try to keep things steady. It’s just a regular workplace for regular people trying to make things work in this big city.
