For Ever

For Ever is located at Shop No 6 in Jawahar Nagar, right across from the Amba Mata Temple in Goregaon West. Being near the temple means we hear the bells and the prayers every morning and evening, which gives the whole area a nice, calm feeling even when the streets are busy with rickshaws. The shop is a straightforward space with a simple sign and a glass front that we have to clean pretty often because of the dust from the road. Goregaon West is a busy place to be, but Jawahar Nagar feels a bit more like a community once you get off the main roads. We open up early and usually stay until late in the evening when the temple crowds start to thin out. Most of our day is spent talking to people who stop in, some just to say hello and others who need something specific. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the shop inside out. The shelves are packed with whatever we’re working on at the moment, and there’s always a pile of paperwork on the desk that never seems to get smaller. We don't worry much about sounding professional or corporate; we just speak the way we do at home. It’s a small shop in a busy part of town, and we’ve been here long enough that it feels like a second home to all of us. We just take each day as it comes.
