We are based over here on Dr. Ambedkar Road in Mumbai. The building is Punit Smruti, and we’re in 2/162 C. Freight is a messy business sometimes, with all the paperwork and moving parts. Being in Mumbai-14 means we are right in the middle of everything. It gets loud outside with the traffic, but we just keep our heads down and work. We deal with a lot of shipping documents every single day. Some days the phones don't stop ringing and other days it's just quiet filing and checking the logs. We've been here for a good bit now. It's a standard office, nothing special to look at. We have a few desks and a lot of folders stacked up on the shelves. Freight moves regardless of the rain or the heat, so we stay busy throughout the year. Dealing with customs and transport schedules takes up most of our energy and time. We try to stay organized, but sometimes the desk gets buried under bills of lading and other papers. It’s just how it goes in this industry. Most of us have lived in Mumbai all our lives, so we know how to navigate the chaos of the city. We just make sure the cargo gets from point A to point B without too much trouble.
