Firangi Dhaba

Firangi Dhaba. We are set up in Andheri West, over at 6th Cross in the Gangondanahalli area of Ahmed Nagar 9. The place has a bit of a rough-and-ready feel to it, like a proper dhaba should. We have wooden tables and the kitchen is quite open so you can hear the pans clanking. Andheri is always crowded and our street is no different. It gets quite lively at night when the lights are on and people are looking for a heavy meal. We serve the usual dhaba food, lots of masalas and tandoori items. The staff is a bit informal, we don't wear uniforms or anything like that. We just focus on getting the food to the tables while it’s hot. Sometimes the music is a bit loud, but that’s the atmosphere we have. The walls have some posters and the lighting is a bit dim in some corners. We’ve had the same stove for a long time and it’s seen a lot of cooking. People come here because they want a break from the more polished restaurants in the area. It's a place where you can just sit down, eat with your hands, and not worry about much. We just keep doing what we do every night, serving food until the last customer leaves and we can finally clean up. It is what it is, just a dhaba in Andheri.
