Falashree Optics

Our shop, Falashree Optics, is tucked away at 127/1017 in Motilal Nagar No 1. We are right there in Goregaon West, not too far from Trikoni Maidan. It is a small place, but we have managed to fit a lot of frames and lenses into the display cases over the years. We aren't a big, polished chain store. It is just a local spot where people come to get their eyes checked or to find a pair of glasses that actually fit comfortably. Most of our days are spent helping neighbors pick out frames or fixing a pair of spectacles that someone accidentally sat on. We do the eye testing right here in the back. It’s simple and functional. The area around Lamington Road is always buzzing, and the dust from the street means we are constantly wiping down the glass. We have everything from simple reading glasses to the sturdier frames that kids need. Sometimes we have to wait a day or two for a specific lens to come in from the supplier, but we always let people know the situation upfront. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the people who walk through the door. It is a nice way to earn a living, being part of the community like this. We just keep things basic, focus on the work, and try to be fair with everyone who stops by.
