Express Pharma - The Indian Express Ltd

We have been here at the Second Floor, Express Towernariman Point for a good while now. It is a busy place to be, with the sea right there, though we spend most of our time looking at our computer screens or stacks of papers. Being part of Express Pharma - The Indian Express Ltd means things can get a bit hectic around deadline time, but we just get on with it. Our office isn't anything fancy, just desks, some old files, and the usual office noise you’d expect in a place like this. We focus on the pharma side of things, making sure the news and articles are put together right. Sometimes the tea runs out and someone has to go down to the street to find a vendor. It gets a bit crowded in the lifts during the lunch hour, so most of us just eat at our desks while reading through the latest industry reports. The building itself is quite iconic, and you can feel the history when you walk through the lobby every morning. We don’t really do big meetings or fancy presentations; it is mostly just us sitting around and talking about what needs to be published next. It's a steady job and we like the routine of it all. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but our work here on the second floor stays pretty much the same. We just keep our heads down and get the job done.
