Expo Freight

Expo Freight operates out of Hill View Apartment, A Wing, on the 4th floor in Flat 405. We are located right on LBS Marg in Vikhroli West, Mumbai. The address says Hill View, and if you look out the window on a clear day, you can actually see some of the greenery, though mostly you just see the busy traffic on LBS Marg below. Working from a flat on the fourth floor means we spend a lot of time waiting for the elevator with our documents and small crates. It is a typical Mumbai setup where space is tight and every corner of the room is used for storing files or equipment. We handle freight and shipping details all day long, mostly sitting at desks that have been pushed together to make more room. The hum of the city is always there in the background, mixed with the sound of our own printers going off. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, but we just open the windows and keep at it. We are not a big fancy agency with a glass front. We are just a group of people in a Vikhroli apartment trying to keep track of cargo moving across the ocean or the country. People drop by with papers, we sign them, and then we get back to the phones. It is a simple, honest way to spend the work week without any unnecessary fuss.
