You can find us at Room No. 107 on the first floor of the Standard B-126 building. We are located on V.V. Chandra Street in Vadgadi, right in the heart of Masjid Bunder. If you’ve ever been to this part of Mumbai, you know how tight the lanes are and how busy it gets with the handcarts and laborers. Our office is small and usually stacked high with ledgers and samples. It’s a typical trading spot where the phone never stops ringing. We deal with various goods, mostly wholesale stuff that moves through the market daily. The building is old, and the stairs are narrow, but this is where the business has been for years. We aren't trying to be fancy. We just focus on buying and selling and making sure the transport guys know where to take the bags. It’s a lot of haggling and checking prices throughout the day. The smell of spices and chemicals from the street below often wafts up into the room. We drink a lot of tea and talk to our regular customers who have been coming to us for a long time. It’s a tough, fast-paced environment, but we’ve grown used to the chaos of Masjid Bunder. We just do our bit to keep the trade moving. There’s no marketing here, just honest trading and long days. We try to finish up by evening, but often work late.
