In Mumbai, we are based over in Wadala East. The office is actually in an apartment complex called Emgee Greens, specifically in the A Wing at flat number 901. Being on M T V Road means there is always a lot of activity outside. Since we are on the 9th floor, we get a bit of a break from the street noise, though you can still hear the horns honking down below. We deal with shipping, ports, and logistics from this flat. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze with all the computers and the maps we have pinned to the walls, but it works for our small team. Mumbai logistics can be a real headache with the port schedules and the traffic, so we spend most of our time on the phone or tracking things online. The kitchen in the flat has been turned into a place where we keep the server and make quick snacks. It’s a very informal environment. We don't wear suits or anything like that unless there is a very important meeting. Most days it’s just us in casual clothes trying to make sure the cargo gets where it needs to go on time. The building has decent security, so we feel safe working late when the shipping cycles get busy. It’s a typical Mumbai setup where space is tight but everyone just gets on with their work without complaining much.
