Essar Shipping Limited

Essar Shipping Limited is based in Dharavi, Mumbai. Our address is Flat No. 406 A, inside Dharavi Balani Nagar. We are part of the Kamaraj Co-Op. Hsg. Soc. Ltd. on 90 Feet Road. This area is always crowded and full of life. It is not the kind of place you would expect a shipping company to be if you only see the big offices in the movies. We are on the fourth floor and it can get quite warm during the summer months. We handle a lot of the shipping paperwork and coordination from this small office. There is always the sound of horns and people shouting from 90 Feet Road downstairs. It is just part of the atmosphere here. We have a few desks and some old computers that we use to keep track of everything. It is a lot of hard work and we do not really have time for anything fancy. The shipping industry has its ups and downs and we have seen plenty of both. We just keep our heads down and focus on the tasks at hand. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up so we have to walk up the stairs. It is a good workout I suppose. We do not have any big mission statements or marketing talk. We just do the shipping work that needs to be done. Mumbai is a tough city but we have made our place here in Dharavi.
