Essar Constructions Ltd.

We are based at Essar House, right across from the Race Course in Mahalaxmi. It’s a pretty well-known spot in this part of the city. From some of the windows, you can actually see the horses running if you catch it at the right time. Essar Constructions Ltd. has been here for quite some time now. Even though the building looks big from the outside, inside it’s just a lot of people sitting at desks covered in blueprints and site reports. It gets pretty noisy when the traffic picks up on the main road. We spend our days talking to engineers and checking on project timelines. There’s always a bit of mud on someone’s boots because they just came back from a site visit. We have a lot of meetings about concrete, steel, and labor schedules. It’s not all just drawing pretty pictures of buildings; there’s a lot of math and arguing over costs involved. The elevators in the building can be a bit slow during the lunch hour when everyone is trying to head out at once. We’ve got a small canteen where we usually grab some snacks or a quick tea. It’s a busy environment where things are always changing. One day we are worried about the rain stopping work, and the next day it’s a delay in material delivery. We just try to keep things moving forward as best as we can without making too much of a fuss.
