Ernst & Young

We at Ernst & Young are located over in Goregaon West, specifically at 57/403 on 6th Road in Jawahar Nagar. It’s a busy spot in Mumbai, and anyone who knows this area knows how the traffic can get on the main roads, but 6th Road is where we spend our days. Our office is up on the fourth floor, in unit 403. It’s not a huge place, but it’s where we get all our work done. We’ve been at this address for some time now, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. There are plenty of little shops around where we grab tea or a quick snack during the afternoon break. You can hear the sounds of the city from the windows, which is just part of being in Mumbai. Getting here is pretty straightforward if you’re coming from the station, though the rickshaws can be a bit of a wait sometimes. We start our mornings fairly early to beat the worst of the heat and the crowds. The building itself is just a regular commercial structure, nothing too flashy, but it serves its purpose for what we do. We have our desks set up, some files stacked around, and a small space for people to sit when they come by. It’s a practical setup. Most of the people working in the other units are friendly enough, and we see the same security guards every day. It feels like a small community in this part of Jawahar Nagar, and we quite like it here.
