We are located in the Damji Shamji Business Galleria, up on the ninth floor in suites 908 and 909. Being on LBS Road in Kanjur Marg West means we deal with a lot of traffic noise from down below, even all the way up here. The office is usually a hum of activity with people on computers and files being moved around. We handle a lot of electronic components and technical parts, so there are always small boxes arriving or being sent out. It’s not a huge space, but we make it work by keeping everything in its place. The view from the window is mostly other buildings and the busy road. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers or checking on shipments that are coming through the port. It’s a lot of paperwork and tracking numbers. We don’t have a fancy showroom, just a functional office where the team sits. Sometimes the elevators in the galleria take a while, so we end up chatting with the neighbors while we wait. The air conditioning is usually running because it gets quite warm in Mumbai. We keep some samples on the shelves so we can show people what we are talking about if they stop by. It’s a straightforward operation. We just come in, do the work, and try to make sure everything gets to where it’s supposed to go.
