Endress + Hauser (India) Pvt.Ltd. is based in Vikhroli West, over on L.B.S. Marg. We have a pretty large space in Raj Plaza, taking up Wings A and B on the 5th floor. It’s a busy office because we handle a lot of process automation stuff for the whole country. We deal with sensors for measuring things like flow, level, and pressure in big industrial tanks and pipes. Even though we are part of a big international group, the vibe in the Vikhroli office is pretty down-to-earth. We have a lot of people who have been here for a decade or more. The morning commute on L.B.S. Marg can be a nightmare, but we’re all used to it by now. In the office, there’s a lot of talk about technical specifications and industrial standards. We have rooms for training and testing out the equipment. We don’t really go in for big, polished sales speeches. We just show the data and explain how the instruments work in real-world conditions. It’s a lot of work coordinating with different industries like food and beverage or chemicals. We spend a lot of time on our computers or in meetings trying to figure out the best way to set up a system for a customer. It’s a practical, busy place with a lot of paperwork and technical drawings. We just focus on getting the measurements right for everyone. We usually have lunch together in the breakroom when things aren't too frantic.
