Emson Medichem is tucked away in Borivli West, specifically on Sodawala Lane. We operate out of a building called Himanshu, in unit A-1. It’s a bit of a quieter spot compared to the main roads, which we actually prefer for our daily work. Borivli is a crowded suburb, so having a place on a side lane makes things a little easier to manage. We’ve been here for a good many years now. The office is quite small, and we have to be careful with how we use the space we have. We handle various medicinal chemicals, so there’s always a bit of a clinical smell in the air, but we’ve grown used to it over time. We don't have a lot of staff, just a few of us who know the routine inside out. Most of our day is spent dealing with orders and making sure the packaging is done right before the tempo comes to pick them up. We don't spend money on fancy furniture or decor; we’d rather keep things simple and functional. Sometimes the neighbors pop in for a quick chat because everyone knows everyone on this lane. It’s a very local feel. We usually close up around six or seven and head to the station for the commute home. It’s not an exciting life, but it’s a steady one and we like the community we have here. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing every single day.
