Electricalltraders is located right in the middle of the chaos that is Kalbadevi Road. We are on the ground floor of the Balaji Temple Building, specifically at unit number 4. If you’ve ever been to Popatwadi, you know how crowded it gets with all the traders and the handcarts moving through the narrow lanes. Our shop is small but we pack a lot into it. We deal in all sorts of electrical components and parts. It’s the kind of place where you have to climb over boxes just to get to the back shelf. We’ve been here for years, and the Balaji Temple next door is a constant presence in our daily lives. You can hear the prayers and the people coming and going all day long. It gives the place a certain feel that you don’t get in a modern office building. We spend most of our time talking to customers who come in looking for specific parts that they can’t find anywhere else. Sometimes we have to dig through old crates to find exactly what they need. It’s a bit dusty and the lighting isn't great, but we know where everything is. We don't use any fancy inventory software; we just know our stock by heart. It’s a busy, noisy, and cramped way to work, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s just how business is done in Kalbadevi. You just learn to live with the noise and the constant rush.
