We are based in Block VIII of the Velankani Information System Campus, which is located at 43, Electronics City, Phase II, right along Hosur Road. Elcoteq Electronics India Pvt Ltd. has been operating from this campus for a good while. It is a very large area, and sometimes it feels like a city of its own with all the different buildings and people walking around with badges. Our daily routine involves going through the security checkpoints and settling into our workspace in the block. Since we deal with electronics, the environment is quite technical and filled with various components and testing gear. It is not like a small neighborhood shop; it is a big, busy professional setting. Hosur Road is famous for its traffic jams, so most of us spend a lot of time just trying to get to work in the morning. Once we are inside, we focus on the various projects and assemblies we have on our schedule. There are some nice green patches on the campus where we can sit for a few minutes to eat lunch, which helps break up the day. We do not interact much with the general public here as most of our work is technical and specific to the industry. It is a fast-paced place to be, but we have managed to find our own rhythm within the larger campus.
